Brand Intermedia become Associates to Team Hazel in anticipation of the 2012 Olympics!

It was back in June 2009 when Brand Intermedia exhibited at the Switched On Event, Bingley Hall, Birmingham where we were delighted to meet Heptathlete, Louise Hazel and her main sponsor of Team Hazel, Bob Malden, of Leisure Care Promotions.

Louise Hazel approached Brand Intermedia about the possibility of assisting them in the launch of ‘Team Hazel’, in order to raise awareness of the competing team and in turn take the Team Hazel Brand forward throughout competing tournaments in order to become a Heptathlon qualifier for 2012 Olympics. 3rd ranked in the UK, Louise Hazel currently trains daily for all 7 Heptathlon events including long jump, high jump, javelin, shot put, hurdles, 100 metres and 400 metres sprint. Brand Intermedia Ltd are looking forward to supporting Louise throughout the run up to the Olympics 2012 in terms of building their Brand Awareness and providing promotional material whilst encouraging Louise for her achievements.

Brand Intermedia are shortlisted for 2 business awards!

It’s that exciting time of year again – the nominations are out for the finalists of the 2009 Switched On Business Awards.

 

Moira has been chosen for the final four in the category of ‘Brite Spark’ which is awarded to the business leader who invests greatly in the future of their company whilst inspiring their staff. Helen has been shortlisted for the ‘Connected’ award for forging new relationships by passing business and recommendations.

 

The competition was extremely fierce and the judging was led by a panel of professionals employed to conduct the interviews.  

The prestigious awards evening will be held on Thursday 1st October 2009 at The New Bingley Hall in Birmingham.

 

Last year saw both Helen and Moira in the final four so let’s hope that this year we can both come back to the office with an award!

Following on from the success of Brandcademy’s marketing planning workshop we have developed our online marketing workshop.

Finally, after an extremely long search for only ‘the best’ we have recruited our new Business Development Manager who will be joining
Brand Intermedia on the 5th May.

 

Our Business Development Manager will work closely the marketing sector of the company to proactively generate new business opportunities within public organisations and commercial businesses. When recruiting we believe it is really important to find the right person for the role, even if it does take near enough six months (which it has). We are hopeful we have found the perfect person who has the necessary skills for an exciting and challenging sales role as well as gelling with our established in-house team.

 

We will look forward to welcoming our new member of staff for the Business Development role next month!

Brandcademy: next installment scheduled for Thursday 30th April

The next Brandcademy has been scheduled for Thursday 30th April 2009 at Sytner BMW in Solihull from 9.30am to 12.00pm.

 

Following on from the success of the past Marketing Workshops Brand Intermedia are now recruiting attendee's for the next Brandcademy.
The workshops are free of charge and offer business owners and marketing directors the opportunity to take away a mini marketing plan,
including techniques for implementing internet and traditional marketing strategies.

Brand Intermedia form alliance with local law firm

Nowadays there are a multitude of laws and policies surrounding websites and online trading which can often be confusing. In order to offer our existing and potential clients a piece of mind, Brand Intermedia will be forging an alliance with local law firm FBC Manby Bowdler.

 

FBC Manby Bowdler was formed when Manby Steward Bowdler LLP and FBC Solicitors merged on the 1st May 2008 and are experts in commercial law and personal affairs.

 

It is a legal requirement for companies wishing to sell products online through an e-commerce system to have documents in place to comply
with online trading standards and laws such as Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, Disclaimer and Intellectual Property Policy.

February 2009 sees Brand Intermedia launch blog

Blogs are online diaries which are regularly updated and published on the Internet, they are increasingly used by businesses to communicate with both existing and potential clients and contacts. Marketing Manager Helen Nixon is in charge of updating the blog on a regular basis with news items, relevant information and hints and tips.

In addition Brand Intermedia will be offering the development of blog platforms as a plug in to existing websites and the creation of standalone blog websites. If you would like more information on Blogs please contact us.
