Marketing seminars start February 2009

Following the success of our networking talks at Ukita and Switched On last month, Brand Intermedia will be running a series of Marketing seminars as of February 2009. The seminars will be free of charge and will offer business owners and marketing directors the opportunity to take away a mini marketing plan, including techniques for implementing interned and traditional marketing strategy. We are Recruiting - Business Development Manager

As we become a growing provider of branding, website and e-marketing solutions we are now looking to appoint an additional member to our team in the position of Business Development Manager. The candidate will work closely with our team to target regional SME’s and national target markets in the areas of search engine optimisation, e-marketing and the production of websites on a number of levels.

1st November 2008

Office Move

On the 1st November 2008 Brand Intermedia moved to 5 Shaw Business Park Village where we now share the building with local telemarketing company DJR Marketing. Through networking at Switched On in the New Ikea Business Centre, Coventry we were able to source all of our new furniture for our new office which offers an inviting space and vibrant working environment for our staff and clients.
In return we will now feature on the new Ikea Business website which enables local business’s to network and trade throughout Europe.

Networking Events

Brand Intermedia are privileged to be invited to speak at 2 networking events in the Midlands during October and November 2008.
Kicking off at UKITA’s monthly event at the Centre of Engineering Excellence at Wolverhampton Science Park on Friday 17th October
12.00 – 2.00pm and then at Switched On, Women in Business with B*lls at the Corus Hotel in Solihull on Thursday 6th November,
11.45 – 2.30pm. At both events we will discuss networking preparation and how to improve your skills including offering some
practical advice.

Google Analytics

With an emphasis on customer service Brand Intermedia have integrated Google Analytics into all websites, including both old and current projects. Google Analytics allows the production of regular reports to assess the performance of a website and now come as standard when building all of our websites. Every six months a Search Engine Optimisation Report will be sent to our clients enabling them to view and analyse their website status.

We are evolving for 2008

As from the 1st September 2008 our company MM Graphix Ltd has become Brand Intermedia. Through analysing our company structure and observing our processes we have re-organised to improve our customer service by implementing our in-house
'Activity Logger'
and have expanded our portfolio to offer a strategic approach to Websites and Internet Marketing.

Latest recruit

Here at MM Graphix we are delighted to take on our newest recruit Jonathan Pinney. Jonathan is joining the team for a six month placement during his sandwich year at the city campus of the University of Wolverhampton. Jonathan is studying a 4 year course,
which includes a yearlong placement, to gain a BSC in Computer Science. Throughout the course Jonathan is studying PHP, html, databases and visual basic. Jonathan will contribute in terms of the continual development of our internal ‘Activity Logger’ management system and will offer web support within the construction and updating of our projects.

MM Graphix launch our 'Activity Logger' System

MM Graphix are proud to introduce our new ‘Activity Logger’ system, which is currently being piloted ‘in house’. The system is specifically tailored to MM Graphix and will enable us to offer our client’s the best quality customer service as effectively as possible.

The ‘Activity Logger’ system allows members of staff to:

• Log individual jobs as soon as the enquiries enter onto the system
• Track all enquiries in one place
• Indicate the priority of specific jobs
• Produce various production reports
• Keep the team connected, even when offsite

On our client side, MM Graphix will soon be launching our job query submission form, whereby our customers will be able to log individual enquiries. These will be sent directly to our Activity Logger and then distributed to a specific member of staff who will be able to deal with each customer directly. This means that eventually all job enquiries will come through our central system and not on scattered emails, so that all our staff member can clearly track and prioritise our work load on a daily basis.

MM Graphix runners up at Switched On Business Awards 2008 

The black tie event held at the Birmingham Motorcycle Museum was host to over 250 business people from around the West Midlands including Business Link and 100.7 Heart FM. Adding to our delight of reaching the finalists for the Switched On Business Awards 2008 Moira was shortlisted as a runner up for the category of Against All Odds and was presented with a certificate and a bottle of champagne. This was awarded to individuals who had gone the extra mile to achieve their success. Moira fulfilled this when she fell pregnant with our office mascot Thomas last year whilst at the same time grew the business at a spectacular rate.

Wolverhampton Designers Shortlisted For Awards

Wolverhampton based website design firm MM Graphix have been short-listed for two excellence awards that celebrate the achievements of up and coming businesses.

The Switched-on awards run in partnership with Business Link West Midlands, are holding the 2008 Business Awards Gala Evening on Friday 6th June at the National Motorcycle Museum. The awards will be presented by Heart FM.

Based at the Creative Industries Centre in Wolverhampton, the firm has been short-listed for two categories.

Managing Director, Moira Mottram has been nominated for the Against All Odds Category which is for individuals who have gone that extra mile to achieve success. Whilst Moira set up the business in 2003 offering tailored design services for businesses, her pregnancy in 2007 didn’t get in the way of her continuing to drive the business forward with MM Graphix having one of its best years ever.

Marketing Manager, Helen Nixon is also a finalist, in the Connected Category, for recommending and referring people to create business relationships.

Moira said: “These are our first Awards and we’re delighted to have been nominated. They come at a time when MM Graphix is growing and this further demonstrates our commitment to excellence as a company. We have big plans over the next two years as we grow our portfolio. This means we can offer our tailored services to larger companies so we can operate as their in-house team.”
